Property managers and developers can now create added revenues through hosted billing applications.
In early June, NACT Telecommunications unveiled a new software package called IRIS. NACT is billing IRIS as the “first true hosted billing application” for voice, video, data and other services. Tenants are increasingly demanding a range of customized telecom services from their landlords and property managers.
“Virtually every service provider and property manager has the opportunity to increase revenue by billing out additional services,” says Mark Massey, vice president of sales and marketing at NACT. “[But] traditionally, the billings process has been a cost center to the property manager. For the first time, however, IRIS can convert these functions into an instant sources of new profit.”
IRIS allows property managers to funnel any services they would like to provide directly to their tenants. NACT enables them to do this through a hosted billing site.
