Foreclosure Sites Teams Up With Yahoo!

On April 4, RealtyTrac announced the formation of the redesigned Yahoo! Real Estate Foreclosure Center. The new Web site allows buyers to analyze trends in the foreclosure market and gain a better grasp of this increasingly opportunistic sector. RealtyTrac publishes one of the largest national databases of foreclosure and bank-owned properties.

RealtyTrac listed more than 900,000 distressed properties from roughly 2,500 counties across the country as of early April. Yahoo! Real Estate offers real estate tools and information aimed at helping people find new homes.

“The redesigned Yahoo! Real Estate Foreclosure Center incorporates some of the most advanced tools and analytical features from RealtyTrac, and is a major step forward in providing millions of customers with data on foreclosures,” says James Saccacio, CEO of RealtyTrac. MediaMetrix ranked RealtyTrac as the third largest real estate site in 2006.
