Advanced modeling technology is helping real estate portfolio managers fine-tune their investment strategy.
On September 6, Resolve Technology unveiled a new real estate investment portfolio management and analysis software package called Portfolio Maximizer. The software enables investors and fund managers to better forecast portfolio returns while accurately calculating how investment income will be distributed. The software lets managers run multiple “what-if” scenarios detailing how various events or strategy changes will impact the portfolio. Portfolio Maximizer should take the place of cumbersome and error-prone Excel spreadsheets as an essential tool for portfolio managers. “The dynamics of today’s real estate investment market require a new set if tools to provide real-time access to data and advanced modeling capabilities,” says Eric Forman, founder and CEO of Boston-based Resolve Technology. He believes that Portfolio Maximizer will also help investment managers to better address increasingly complex partnership structures and rapid market changes.
