A national hotel chain has implemented new hospitality software as a way to boost revenues and lower operating costs.

Last week, Extended Stay Hotels announced plans to use new business intelligence software designed by Aptech Computer Systems at its 681 properties. The new Execuvue Business Intelligence system should help Extended Stay gather and analyze operating data from all of its branded properties. Steve Licht, vice president and controller for Extended Stay Hotels, hopes to integrate the Execuvue software with his front office system and financial accounting system. Another benefit, says Licht, is that the software will eliminate the time-consuming manual entry of data.

“The [Execuvue] system delivers comprehensive performance

and comp-set data,” adds Licht, “which lets us operate more efficiently by basing our business decisions on better information.”
