Krasucki: Walgreens Continues to Grow

Mike Krasucki, vice president of real estate for Walgreen Co., discusses the drugstore giant’s expansion and leasing strategies. The firm recently opened its, 8,000th store nationally and remains one of the most popular targets for net lease investors. Traditionally, the firm has sold off net leases is small packages of up to 15 stores. It’s now exploring offering larger portfolios for sale to appeal to institutional investors targeting the net lease market.
