NEW YORK—Abbey National Treasury Services, a subsidiary of the Santader Group, has signed an 18,000-sq.-ft., long-term lease renewal at The Landis Group’s 400 Atlantic Street in Stamford, Conn. Santader Group will continue to use its space as its U.S. headquarters and the bank will move other area operations here to consolidate its space. The lease brings the building to approximately 90 percent occupancy.
A global, multinational bank, Banco Santader currently serves more than 100 million customers at 14,400 branches around the world.
Totaling 500,000 sq. ft. and standing 15 stories tall, 400 Atlantic Street is a class A office property that was originally constructed as Champion Paper’s world headquarters. The building is located across from the Stamford Train Station and includes an indoor connected garage, fitness center and lobby cafeteria.
Other tenants at 400 Atlantic Street include Charter Communications, UBS, American Express and Harman Kardon.
