Bloomingdale's Looking Across the Pond

In line with the current trend of retailers looking for expansion opportunities abroad, upscale department store chain Bloomingdale's might soon be opening its first location in London, according to U.K.'s Express.

The newspaper reports that Bloomingdale's is currently looking for an affordable space, given London's sky-high retail rents. It also adds that Bed, Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel and David's Bridal have all been scouting for potential stores in one of Europe's biggest cities.
