We wrote recently about the increasingly fierce fight for market share in the office supplies sector. So it's no surprise that Office Depot has been redesigning its brand to appeal to today's more discerning consumers. Today, the chain opened yet another of its smaller new concept stores in Omaha, Neb., according to 4-traders.com.
The new stores, which debuted in Denver in November, contain approximately 5,000 sq. ft. of space and feature such innovations as computer rental stations, recharge stations, free Wi-Fi and coffee, bluewire stores-within-a-store and touchscreens that allow in-store customers to order products from officedepot.com. The question is whether these new units will help Office Depot conquer its vast competition? Let us know what you think!
