Reis Q4 2010 Regional Mall Trends

• The vacancy rate at regional malls fell 10 basis points from 8.8 percent to 8.7 percent during the quarter.
• Asking rents rose 0.2 percent during the quarter to $38.79 per square foot. For the year as a whole, asking rents fell 0.6 percent.
• Asking rents peaked in the third quarter of 2008 at $40.62 per square foot.
