I’ve been, perhaps, overly hopeful that Congress would make great strides to work in a bipartisan manner to clear some of the backlog of pending legislation on issues critical to our nation’s ongoing economic recovery. But now, with just a handful of days remaining before Congress recesses to go back out on the campaign trail, progress has woefully collapsed on commercial real estate’s issues.
