Westfield Group has some novel plans for a new project it is constructing in Los Angeles. The proposed $700-million Village at Topanaga, will include a 300-room hotel, 150 condominiums and apartments, offices and 550,000 square feet of shops and restaurants, bridging two other Westfield projects — Westfield Topanga and Westfield Promenade — to create a 3.8-million-square-foot retail complex. Westfield submitted the plans to the city in mid July. The project will now undergo an environmental review and approval process.
