Bruce Krall, managing director at Cohen Financial, was eulogized at a memorial service at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif. on Tuesday.
He was one of five people killed in the crash of a small plane at Long Beach Airport on March 16. Clients Thomas Dean and Jeffrey Berger, real estate developer Mark Bixby and pilot Kenneth Cruz also were killed in the crash. Developer Mike Jensen remains hospitalized. The group was bound for Salt Lake City.
Cohen Financial issued the following statement: “The outpouring of concern, caring and support for his wife Elisa and his two boys, Lucas and Logan, as well as for those of us that worked closely with Bruce has been remarkable and heart-warming. Bruce was a devoted and loving husband and father, an active and effective community leader and was recognized by his peers and clients as a true professional in the mortgage banking community. The loss of his warm handshake, sincere smile and optimistic outlook will be felt by many.”
Krall’s life and memory were celebrated at the memorial service. His family requested that any gifts in his memory be made to either of the charities for which he volunteered. Here are the addresses where donations can be sent:
