NEW YORK, Jan. 11, 2011 – In a move that is expected to further strengthen one of the industry’s leading brokerage services platforms in New York, Cushman & Wakefield today announced the appointment of Bruce Mosler, former President and CEO, as Chairman of Global Brokerage. In this capacity, Mr. Mosler will partner with former C&W CEO Arthur Mirante to create a unique brokerage services team in New York that will serve as a resource for clients and the firm’s professionals to leverage the company’s full-service approach and broad geographic platform around the world. The appointment became effective Jan. 1, 2011.
The team, which will be based in New York, includes Mr. Mosler, who most recently served as Co-Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield, and Mr. Mirante, President of Global Business Development, as well as several other brokerage professionals including David Rosenbloom, an Executive Director with more than two decades of transaction experience.
In just the last nine months, Mr. Mosler and Mr. Mirante have completed more than 2 million square feet of office leasing assignments in the New York Metro Region. The combination is expected to add another powerful team to the top of what is already regarded as one of the world’s premier brokerage services platforms in New York and in major markets around the world.
