The Kamson Corp has acquired a portfolio of 436 apartments from Equity Residential for $42.7 million. The properties are in Glastonbury, Manchester, Plainville and West Hartford, Conn. and are mainly garden-style and mid-rise buildings built between 1945 and 1965. Jeffrey Dunne and Matthew Innes of CB Richard Ellis' New York institutional group collaborated with Michael Stone of the brokerage's multi-housing group for Equity Residential.
Guardian Management LLC has acquired a three-building office campus from SL Green Realty Corp. and Gramercy Capital Corp. for $230 million. The buildings located at 55 Corporate Dr. in Bridgewater, N.J., sit on approximately 150 acres. The buildings are 100% leased by sanofi-aventis USA Inc., which is headquartered there. Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets Group in East Rutherford, N.J., represented the seller and procured the buyer.
Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP has arranged a $47.5 million loan for SunTrust International Center, a 420,080 sq. ft. office tower in downtown Miami. HFF managing directors Todd Sugimoto and Fred Welker worked on behalf of Guggenheim Real Estate LLC and its partner, Stiles Corp., to secure the five-year, fixed-rate loan through a life insurance company. Loan proceeds are replacing an existing loan that matured in January.
