Construction has begun on a 114-room Staybridge Suites downtown Montgomery. The $12.5 million project led by Kyser Property Management Co. is expected to take about a year, according to the Montgomery Advertiser. The extended-stay hotel will feature one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens, a fitness center, business center, meeting space, outdoor living room, convenience store and on-site parking. It will be branded with the Intercontinental Hotel Group.
