Transwestern is extending its real estate service capabilities globally through a newly formed strategic alliance with BNP Paribas Real Estate.
BNP Paribas Real Estate is part of Paris-based BNP Paribas Group, a global leader in banking and financial services with a presence in 30 countries.
The alliance will enhance services to both companies’ clients throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India and the U.S. by allowing the partners to deliver service across borders managed by a single point of contact, provide a consistently high level of service through close-knit teams and serve clients more effectively due to their combined offerings and global reach.
“The partnership with BNP Paribas Real Estate reflects our commitment to serve our clients’ global needs at the same high level of quality they have come to expect from Transwestern in the U.S.,” Larry P. Heard, Transwestern president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. “The alliance gives Transwestern the ability to provide real estate and transactional services for clients in 181 cities in 30 countries—150 where BNP Paribas Real Estate is located and 31 where Transwestern is present.
“This alliance is part of our ongoing strategy to be the best firm wherever we operate by linking together like-minded firms around the world while leveraging both firms’ considerable technology and human capital. In addition to benefiting our clients, the BNP Paribas Real Estate alliance opens up countless opportunities for our team members,” Heard added.
Chairman Advisor of BNP Paribas Real Estate Greg Cooke, said, “BNP Paribas Real Estate is thrilled to partner with a firm of Transwestern’s caliber. Transwestern has a strong culture and an impeccable reputation for providing outstanding long-lasting client service. Similar to BNP Paribas Real Estate, their culture is rooted in doing what is right for the client and always putting the client’s needs above all else. Aligning our two firms will create the strongest possible service offerings worldwide and provides BNP Paribas Real Estate with a very powerful services partner in the United States.”
Transwestern Chief Operating Officer Mark Doran and U.S. West Coast President George Garfield will co-lead Transwestern’s BNPRE alliance activities. Both executives played a significant role in forging the BNP Paribas Real Estate alliance. Together they will provide strategic guidance to the BNP Paribas Real Estate relationship. Prior to joining Transwestern, Garfield served as president and CEO of global real estate for Vivendi Universal in Paris, and with the Walt Disney Company he directed the firm’s worldwide real estate business and development activities in Hong Kong, London and Paris.
