CHICAGO—MB Real Estate is pleased to announce that the firm has completed more than 137,526 square feet in leases at 300 E. Randolph in Chicago. The firm’s leasing team representative, Vice President Sara Spicklemire, has effectively leased 100% of the East Loop, Class A office space on behalf of the property owner.
The first in a series of leases completed by Spicklemire was a major 95,000 lease transaction for a global consulting firm. However following the execution of the lease, the only remaining space was encumbered by expansion options. Despite the difficult nature of option space leasing, Spicklemire was able to complete a total of 43,157 square feet of option leases.
Other leases completed by Spicklemire include a 20,464 square foot lease for Roundarch Isobar., the US arm of the global digital marketing agency Isobar. The firm was represented by Sheila Matuscak, Managing Principal of Cresa Chicago. Also, the ROC Group, a full-service communications company, signed a 13,193 square foot lease at the property. The firm is relocating from Prudential Plaza for the image and convenience offered by 300 E. Randolph. The ROC Group was represented by Kyle Kamin of CBRE.
Lastly, Spicklemire again worked with Cresa’s Matuscak to complete a deal with The Vistria Group for 9,530 square feet. The private equity firm chose 300 E. Randolph for its views, Class A environment and the many amenities offered at the building including a fitness center, outdoor plaza, multiple cafeterias, conference centers and unique event space.
300 E. Randolph is a 1,625,911 square foot, 57-story office property in Chicago’s East Loop submarket. Built in 1997, the Class A building features floor plans of approximately 33,000 square feet with stunning views of Lake Michigan, Millennium Park and Lake Shore Drive. Spicklemire who joined MB Real Estate in 2011 has worked with ownership for several years.
