WALNUT CREEK, CA—Coldwell Banker’s Northern California residential real estate headquarters will be moved from San Ramon, Calif. to Concord, Calif. with its lease of 16,000 sq. ft. in Concord Gateway. The move away from Bishop Ranch Business Park will situate the firm closer to employees living in Contra Coasta County.
“This was a remarkable development,” said Transwestern Senior Vice President Scott Ellis, in a statement. “The Bishop Ranch Business Park is a prestigious place. Bishop Ranch also fought hard to keep its tenant. But Sierra Pacific Properties patiently worked through several different proposals to allow Coldwell Banker to build space in a new location.”
Ellis along with Transwestern Vice President Trigger Reital and Vice President Terry Vani represented landlord Sierra Pacific. CBRE’s Kirk Beebe represented Coldwell Banker. Negotiations took almost a year to complete. Terms of the deal were not released.
Concord Gateway totals 600,000 sq. ft. in two buildings. Coldwell Banker will occupy space in Gateway 2 at 1885 Gateway Blvd. Amenities of the facility include two on-site restaurants, fitness center and 24-hour security. Sierra Pacific constructed the property 25 years ago.
