Heitman Capital Management Mary Ludgin has been promoted from managing director to chief operating officer for Chicago-based Heitman Capital Management. She will be responsible for managing operations of Heitman's commingled funds, as well as for the firm's client communications and client services groups. Ludgin retains her role as research director.
Zamias Services Inc. Fang Lu has been named to the newly created position of director of research and information services for Johnstown, Pa.-based Zamias Services Inc. He will be responsible for identifying acquisition opportunities, developing value-added information services, researching economic trends, conducting market research studies, and analyzing prospective clients and tenants. Previously, Lu was business information analyst for Midland, Mich.-based Dow Chemical.
Glimcher Group Ronald J. Yates and Richard L. Bowen have been promoted to vice presidents for Glimcher Group, Pittsburgh. Yates, previously property management and construction director, will be responsible for tenant construction and maintenance. Bowen, previously development manager, will be responsible for new developments.
The Brookhill Group Robert W. LoSchiavo has been named general counsel for The Brookhill Group, New York. He will be responsible for overseeing all corporate legal affairs, with a special emphasis on real estate. Previously, LoSchiavo was vice president and general counsel for Bogota, N.J.-based DVL Inc.
Hot Dog On A Stick John M. Creed has been named president and chief executive officer for Solana Beach, Calif.-based Hot Dog On A Stick, where he will be responsible for all aspects of corporate affairs. Previously, he was chairman and chief executive officer for Solana Beach, Calif.-based Chart House Enterprises Inc.
Donahue Schriber Donald J. Howard has been named senior vice president of development for Newport Beach, Calif.-based Donahue Schriber. He will oversee corporate neighborhood andcommunity center development programs. Most recently, Howard served as senior vice president of real estate and construction for The Vons Cos. Inc., Arcadia, Calif.
Also, William C. Harp has been named vice president of acquisitions. He will direct the company's acquisitions program focusing on neighborhood and community centers. Previously, Harp served as regional acquisitions director for San Diego-based Weingarten Realty Investors.
Grubb & Ellis John G. Orrico has been named president of eastern region headquarters in West Orange, N.J., for San Francisco-based Grubb & Ellis. Previously, he had been senior vice president and district manager for the company's West Orange and Princeton, N.J., offices. Orrico has been succeeded by Joseph Romano, who was formerly with Wellsford Real Properties Inc., Summit, N.J.
Horizon Group Inc. Paul Comarato has been named vice president of operations for Muskegon, Mich.-based Horizon Group Inc. He will manage the company property portfolio, as well as oversee all tenant improvement work, and manage the development and construction departments. Most recently, Comarato served as property management director, eastern region, for Roseland, N.J.-based Chelsea GCA Realty Inc.
Manhattan Bagel Co. Inc. Rocco Fiorentino has been promoted from business development director to vice president of business development for Eatontown, N.J.-based Manhattan Bagel Co. Inc. Fiorentino will be responsible for developing and directing the company's alternative venue opportunities, such as supermarkets, convenience stores, military bases and contract feeders.
Robert A. Machson & Associates Carol A. Smrek has been named counsel for New York-based Robert A. Machson & Associates. She will be responsible for negotiating and drafting center leases, easements and related documents; identifying hidden expenses and overcharges; acquiring and disposing of retail locations; and establishing MIS systems. Inland Real Estate Sales Inc. Ronald Kane has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president for Inland Real Estate Sales Inc., Oak Brook, Ill. He will head the company's real estate brokerage office in Chicago.
Craig Realty Group Eileen F. Bohen has been appointed retail asset management director and general manager for Newport Beach, Calif.-based Craig Realty Group. She will be responsible for Carlsbad Co. Previously, Bohen was property management director, western region, for Roseland, N.J.-based Chelsea GCA Realty Inc.
Tucker Development Corp. Ross Berman has joined Highland Park, Ill.-based Tucker Development Corp. as vice president and finance director. He will oversee corporate finance and administrative operations. Previously, Berman was president of Franklin, Ky.-based Pro Wash.
The Mills Corp. Mark J. Rivers has been named senior vice president, national accounts, for The Mills Corp., Arlington, Va. He will be responsible for anchor tenant leasing and strategic business development for corporate projects. Previously, Rivers was senior vice president and development director for San Mateo, Calif.-based DeBartolo Entertainment.

The Big Party! Bob Simone has been named president and chief operating officer for The Big Party!, West Roxbury, Mass., where he will oversee the company's expansion plans. Previously, he was president of Domain, a Norwood, Mass.-based chain of home furnishings.
MBK Northwest Charles R. "Chuck" Thomas has been appointed vice president of operations/controller for Irvine, Calif.-based MBK Northwest.
