Grubb & Ellis Randy Hancock has been named senior director and vice president of management services for the Houston branch of Northbrook, Ill.-based Grubb & Ellis. A 20-year veteran of the industry, Hancock has acted as a transaction professional for Miller Commercial and Yancey-Hausman Interests. In his new position, Hancock will oversee management operations and landlord representation in leasing assignments.
Levin Management Corp. David Silver has been named corporate director of marketing for North Plainfield, N.J.-based Levin Management Corp. In this position, Silver will be responsible for marketing the company's full range of property management services to new and existing clients. He will also supervise marketing efforts for clients' properties. The 30-year veteran of the real estate and marketing industries most recently served as director of marketing at Ashforth Warburg, a Manhattan-based residential brokerage firm.
Opus West Corp. Charles Vogel has been promoted from senior director of real estate finance and sales to vice president of real estate finance and sales for Phoenix-based Opus West Corp. He will be responsible for all sales and financing activity for properties developed by Opus West Corp.
The Fred Ezra Co. Thomas J. Dreher has been named managing director of the new investment brokerage division for The Fred Ezra Co. in Washington, D.C. His division will be responsible for originating and managing relationships with financial institutions, real estate entities, investors and other qualified clients.
FAC Realty Trust Inc. Several promotion have occurred at Cary, N.C.-based FAC Realty Trust Inc. Christopher G. Gavrelis has been promoted from senior vice president of management to executive vice president of management. He will direct asset and property management and administration for FAC Realty's real estate portfolio.
Linda M. Swearingen has been promoted from vice president of finance/investor relations to senior vice president of finance/investor relations. She will be focusing on the company's investor relations strategy, overseeing communications with shareholders and the investment community. In addition, Swearingen will assist in the financial analysis of key transactions, including financing alternatives and lease arrangements.

Glimcher Development Corp. Ward Kampf has been promoted from director of anchor tenant leasing to vice president of anchor tenant leasing for Columbus, Ohio-based Glimcher Development Corp. He will lead and direct anchor leasing activities, including securing department stores, value-retail stores and entertainment components for Glimcher projects.
ORIX Real Estate Equities Inc. A number of promotions has occurred at Chicago-based ORIX Real Estate Equities Inc. Masaaki Tashiro was promoted from president and chief executive officer to vice chairman and chief executive officer. James H. Purinton was promoted from deputy president and chief operating officer to president and chief operating officer. Michael Schramm was promoted from executive vice president to senior executive vice president. Michael J. McCullough was promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president.

Wingo, a former college football coach and professional athlete with the Green Bay Packers, previously served as senior vice president of planning and construction for A.B. Shopping Center Properties Inc. In his new position, Wingo is responsible for overseeing the leasing and planning department and the construction department.
The DESCO Group Timothy A. Daher has been promoted from director of construction services to vice president of construction services for The DESCO Group in St. Louis. He will be responsible for all construction activities.
