Bank of America Michael J. Mihelbergel has been named head of the retail realty division of San Francisco-based Bank of America's commercial real estate services group. He will manage existing clients and current prospects and develop new business strategies. Most recently, Mihelbergel served as vice president and managingdirector of real estate in the Chicago office of Toronto-based CIBC Wood Gundy (formerly Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce).
TrizecHahn Centers Lee Boyd has been named vice president of construction for San Diego-based TrizecHahn Centers. He will be responsible for contractor selection, construction planning, value engineering and project quality assurance. Most recently, Boyd served as president of Birtcher Enterprises.
Allegis Realty Investors L.L.C. Jeffrey G. Maguire has been named senior vice president for Allegis Realty Investors L.L.C., Hartford, Conn. He will be responsible for product development and research. Most recently, Maguire served as senior investment officer, real estate for Boston-based Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board.
PREIT-Rubin Inc. In the first major personnel changes since The Rubin Organization was acquired by PREIT, Philadelphia-based PREIT-Rubin Inc. has made a number of promotions. George F. Rubin, who serves as president, also will now head acquisitions. Eric M. Mallory, formerly vice president of development, and Jeffrey A. Linn (who retains the same title but will see an increased role in the firm's retail projects) will work in corporate acquisitions as senior vice presidents.
Also, Joseph F. Coradino, formerly head of realty, has been named executive vice president. He will implement corporate growth strategy and marketing, and develop institutional relationships. Alan F. Feldman, formerly chief operating officer, has been promoted to executive vice president in charge of retail projects. Douglas S. Grayson, formerly vice president, has been promoted to senior vice president of development. He will be responsible for acquisitions, entitlement, development and construction.
The Macerich Co. David J. Contis, formerly senior vice president of operations, has been promoted to chief operating officer for The Macerich Co., Santa Monica, Calif. He will be responsible for leasing, management, marketing and construction. Also, John Genovese, formerly vice president of real estate, has been promoted to senior vice president and real estate director. He will oversee the company's construction projects, focusing on regional mall acquisition and redevelopment.
The Palladium Co. Mitchell N. Friedel has been named senior vice president for The Palladium Co., New York. He will oversee the leasing efforts for all company projects. Previously, Friedel served as executive director of leasing for Corporate Property Investors, New York.Goodman Segar Hogan Hoffler GVAJohn K. Hutcheson has been named chief financial officer for Norfolk, Va.-based Goodman Segar Hogan Hoffler GVA. He will oversee financial corporate and subsidiary financial operations, and will be responsible for corporate and property accounting, human resources and management information systems.
Also, Bruce Ford has been promoted from vice president, property management to executive vice president. He will be responsible for business development, property management operations, corporate real estate services, and marketing and research.
In the GSHH Construction subsidiary, Eric Apperson has been promoted from vice president and general manager to president. He will be responsible for all corporate operations.
Excess Space Disposition Inc. Julia A. Robinson has been named vice president of Excess Space Disposition Inc., New York. She will act as a liaison between retail clients and their landlords, potential lessees and purchasers, and local network brokers. Most recently, Robinson served as an Atlanta-based independent consultant in the real estate disposition field.
Sears, Roebuck & Co. Ronald P. Douglass has been promoted from real estate asset management director to vice president of real estate for Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based Sears, Roebuck & Co. He will be responsible for improving store positioning, market share and profitability, and will oversee the company's asset management program.
The Sembler Co. David Murphy, formerly vice president, has been promoted to senior vice president for The Sembler Co., St. Petersburg, Fla. He will manage the company's build-to-suit division. Jeff Fuqua, formerly vice president, has been promoted to president of the development division. He will oversee all development projects.
The Hutensky Group Dianne Noth, formerly general manager for The Taubman Co., Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has been named vice president of property operations for The Hutensky Group, Hartford, Conn. She will be responsible for management, marketing and accounting. Jeffrey L. Johnson, formerly special projects director at Hutensky, has been promoted to vice president of business research and development. He will manage business development, strategic planning and market research.
Moody Ramblin Interests Inc. Thomas Lile has been promoted from associate to vice president of Houston-based Moody Ramblin Interests Inc. He will be responsible for project leasing, and will remain active in tenant representation.
