Developers Diversified Realty changed gears and allowed the display of a 13-foot Hanukkah menorah at the Paseo Colorado mall in Pasadena after criticism from both Christian and Jewish groups and threats to boycott the mall. Originally, mall managers said the menorah was not appropriate as a “religious symbol”, but they allowed a 30-foot Christmas tree to remain because it was “holiday decor.”
