Vista, Calif.-based Pan Pacific Retail Properties has acquired six shopping centers with an aggregate square footage of more than 975,000 sq. ft. for $66.3 million:
* San Dimas Marketplace (271,000 sq. ft.) in San Dimas, Calif., was acquired from Glendora, Calif.-based S.C. Properties. The community center features Target, Ross Dress For Less, OfficeMax, Petco, KB Toys and Hollywood Video.
* Four Oregon shopping centers were acquired from Menlo Park, Calif.-based Spieker Properties Inc. Milwaukie Marketplace (267,000 sq. ft.) in Milwaukie features Albertson's, Rite Aid, Ben Franklin Crafts and Jo-Ann Fabrics. Pioneer Plaza (96,000 sq. ft.) in Springfield is anchored by Safeway Foods and Fashion Bug. Powell Valley Junction (103,000 sq. ft.) in Gresham includes Food 4 Less and Cascade Athletic. Shute Park Plaza (60,000 sq. ft.) in Hillsboro is anchored by True Value Hardware.
* Bear Creek Plaza (184,000 sq. ft.) in Medford, Ore., was purchased from Medford-based Bear Creek Plaza L.P. The neighborhood center is anchored by Albertson's, Bi-Mart Drugs, T.J. Maxx and Value Village.
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based CBL & Associates Properties Inc. has acquired Asheville Mall in Asheville, N.C., from Asheville-based R.L. Coleman & Co. for $65 million. The 820,044 sq. ft. regional mall, which is 98 percent leased, is anchored by Belk, Dillard's, JCPenney, Montgomery Ward and Sears.
Southfield, Mich.-based Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust has acquired Village Lakes in Land O'Lakes, Fla., from Greenwich, Conn.-based National RE/sources Village Lakes L.P. for $8.6 million. The 186,476 sq. ft. community center includes Wal-Mart, Cash & Carry, and Walgreens.
