MONTGOMERY, OH—Christ Hospital Health Network has announced it will build a new medical office building here just north of Interstate 275 on Montgomery Road, at Vintage Club Drive.
The Christ Hospital Outpatient Center-Montgomery will be 78,000 sq. ft. and include three floors of clinical and medical office space, with an attached garage and surrounding surface lots.Work on the Christ Hospital Outpatient Center – Montgomery should begin soon and will be complete by late 2014.
The center will be developed by Brandicorp, with Duke Realty serving as contractor. McGill, Smith, Punshon Inc. has been selected as the site architect, with interiors designed by GBBN Architects. The facility will be Christ’s first non-hospital location to provide external-beam radiation therapy and chemotherapy services.
“With these treatments often requiring multiple visits over the course of several weeks, a second location will add much more flexibility in scheduling and convenience for our patients,” says Michael Quaranta, executive director of Oncology Services for network. “Advanced, complex cases will continue to be treated at the hospital in Mount Auburn, but many patients with cancers such as breast, lung colorectal and prostate will be able to select a Christ Hospital treatment location closer to their homes or places of work.”
