WOODRIDGE, ILL.—American NTN Bearing Manufacturing Corporation in Elgin, Ill. has selected Morgan/Harbour Construction Company for a 76,000-sq.-ft. building expansion at 1700 Holmes.
The industrial expansion will include the construction of a 76,081-sq.-ft. addition to an existing manufacturing building. The project will include 24-ft. clear ceiling heights, a drive-in door and additional parking for 184 vehicles. American NTN Bearing Manufacturing Corporation will use the facility for assembly purposes and the company will continue within the existing portion of the facility while construction is completed.
Morgan/Harbour was selected as the general contractor for this project by construction manager Maeda Corporation, a full-service construction/engineering firm headquartered in Tokyo, Japan with a U.S. regional office in Livonia, Mich.
Ben Warriner is the project executive and Josh Peters is the project manager for Morgan/Harbour. Carry Myers is overseeing the construction on behalf of Maeda Corporation; Harris Architects is providing the architectural services.
