BLOOMINGTON, MN—Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit management firm, has signed a long-term extension for 180,000 square feet at the Normandale Lake Office Park.
Prime, based in St. Paul, Minn., first moved into the office complex in 2008 and now houses about 700 employees on seven floors in the 8400 Tower. Prime employs approximately 1,200 employees in the state.
Prime is the park’s largest tenant, and was represented by the late Ray Reese, Dick Keller and Dennis McClinton of CBRE during the transaction.
The 1.7-million-square-foot complex is owned by a joint venture partnership led by Equity Group Investments, and is leased and managed by Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq. The five buildings are at the southwest corner of Interstate 494 and Highway 100. The 85 tenants at the 86-percent-leased complex include Aon Benfield, Schwan's, Towers Watson, Weber Shandwick and Tata Consultancy Services.
In addition to the skyway that connects all of the buildings, each building has an attached parking garage. The complex also includes two first-class restaurants; three delis and a Caribou coffee shop; salon, child care center and convenience store, two fitness facilities with locker rooms and multiple conference facilities.
