OAK BROOK, ILL.—Henry’s Tavern, an American bar and grill, and Kenny’s Smoke House, a barbeque restaurant, have signed leases to occupy space at The Shops at Legacy in Plano, Texas, which is owned by Oak Brook, Ill.-based Retail Properties of America Inc.
Henry’s Tavern occupies 15,169 sq. ft. of space at the center, which is the restaurant’s first location in Texas. The Portland-based restaurant offers beer-inspired food and a locally brewed beer selection.
Kenny’s Smoke House is planning to open in early 2013 and is owned by chef Kenny Bowers. The restaurant will occupy 2,736 sq. ft. at the center.
The Shops at Legacy includes more than 90 boutiques and restaurants including Urban Outfitters, Mi Cocina, Bob’s Steak and Chop House and Sambuca 360, among others.
