EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ—Adam Matloff has joined Cushman & Wakefield as a sales associate of leasing services, announced Gualberto “Gil” Medina, executive managing director. He will be based in the commercial real estate services firm’s East Rutherford office.
“Adam has joined the firm as part of a select team of associates who will represent major corporate users in their real estate activities,” said Medina. “As a member of our Tenant Representation platform, he will focus on professional services firms, as well as local and national corporate users.”
A licensed New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson, Matloff joins Cushman & Wakefield with a background in real estate services. Previously, he managed a 130-unit rental complex and 70,000 sq. ft. of retail space for Roseland, a Mack-Cali company, and served internships with Merrill Lynch and a lobbying firm in Hartford, Conn. He earned a BA degree from the University of Hartford, majoring in politics and government and communications.
“My previous experience has provided me with a strong understanding of client services and financial models,” said Matloff. “Commercial real estate provides the best avenue, in terms of the clientele and the ability to stimulate businesses, for where I want to be professionally.
“Cushman & Wakefield, as the largest privately-held commercial real estate firm, provides the flexibility, the platform and the opportunities to achieve my career goals while serving the firm to the best of my ability,” he said. “I intend to be creative and unique in my business strategy and to ‘think outside the box’ to achieve my—and the firm’s—goals.”
