NEW JERSEY—Continental Terminals Inc. has signed a lease to occupy 535 Dowd Ave. in Elizabeth. Binswanger represented the property owner, Seagis Property Group, in the transaction with Andrew Grabis, vice president, and Marc Policarpo, senior vice president, leading the deal.
Totaling 158,735 sq. ft. of space, 535 Dowd Ave. is situated on a 7.85-acre site. The property includes concrete floors; brick on block walls; ceilings heights to 20 ft.; steel I-beam columns; metal halide lighting; and a 100 percent wet sprinkler system in the warehouse and dry system in the covered landing space.
The 6,080 sq. ft. of office space is fully air-conditioned office space and the property offers 10 interior loading docks and one drive-in door.
The property is located in an Urban Enterprise Zone in close proximity to the New Jersey Turnpike, Newark International Airport and LaGuardia and JFK International airports.
