EisnerAmper Opts for 87,000 Sq. Ft. in Woodbridge

NEW JERSEY—EisnerAmper has signed an 87,000-sq.-ft. lease at MetroTop Plaza II, a newly constructed, 255,000-sq.-ft. class A office building in Woodbridge. The Edison-based Cushman & Wakefield team of Paul Giannone, Kevin Carton and Eric Sobel represented the ownership, Atlantic Realty & Development Corp. EisnerAmper was represented in the transaction by David Simson and Mark Weiss of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s New Jersey and New York offices, respectively.

EisnerAmper, an accounting, tax and advisory firm, will consolidate most of its employees from multiple New Jersey offices at MetroTop Plaza II, taking all of the 10-story building’s sixth and seventh floors, and portions of the first and eighth floors for a term of more than 15 years.

EisnerAmper will have corporate signage on the building.

“The region’s office market has improved significantly, but a combination of economic reasons continues to drive activity,” Giannone said. “Many companies are either consolidating or relocating for cost-related reasons, including a more central location at a transportation hub for the benefit of employees.”

MetroTop Plaza I and Plaza II are situated just off the Garden State Parkway and within walking distance of the MetroPark Train Station, served by Amtrak and New Jersey Transit. Plaza II amenities include a two-story, glass-enclosed atrium, fiber optics, card key access, a multi-level parking deck, a 4,500-sq.-ft. gym and an 8,500-sq.-ft. cafeteria. The 10th floor includes a 10,000-sq.-ft. activity center for tenant use.
