NEW JERSEY—Gebroe-Hammer Associates recently closed two multifamily property sales working on behalf of the sellers. Both in Bergen County, the property sales totaled $15.1 million and included 108 units.
In the first transaction, Debbie Pomerantz, assistant vice president, exclusively represented the seller in the $12.4 million disposition of Station Square Apartments in East Rutherford. Pomerantz, along with Nicholas Nicolaou, vice president, also identified the buyer.
Totaling 84 units, Station Square Apartments is located at 351 Van Winkle Street and is in close proximity to Routes 17, 120 and 3, as well as the New Jersey Turnpike. Built in 1960, Station Square Apartments includes a mix of one-bedroom units as well as one- and two-bedroom duplexes. Amenities include 44 parking spaces and eight garages, as well as on-site laundry facilities.
In the second transaction, Senior Vice President Greg Pine arranged the $2.8 million sale of 24 one-bedroom units at 34-38 Grant Ave. in Dumont. Pine exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer. Comprised of two garden apartment-style buildings, the property offers on-site parking and laundry.
