CLIFTON, N.J. - On Thursday, Aug. 22, accounting firm Sax Macy Fromm & Co., PC (SMF) will be hosting NAIOP New Jersey's Developing Leaders (DL) Mixer. The free event, open to NAIOP DLs and their guests, is being held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at SMF's headquarters, located at 855 Valley Road in Clifton, N.J.
Commercial real estate professionals age 35 and under are invited to attend this networking event, which includes light refreshments. Hosted by SMF Principal George Livanos, a member of the firm's Real Estate Industry Service Group, the mixer will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet Dave Gibbons, president of Elberon Development Co. and NAIOP New Jersey's vice president of education. Gibbons has led the leasing of more than 4 million square feet of commercial space and has supervised construction projects totaling more than $130 million. The Developing Leaders Mixer is one of several upcoming business and community outreach projects being sponsored by SMF. On Sept. 7, the firm's charitable foundation is hosting its second annual "The 4 Miler at Garret Mountain" at Garret Mountain Reservation in Woodland Park, N.J. The race event - which includes a 4-mile run, a 1.5-mile trail walk and kids' dashes for youngsters ages 2 to 11 - benefits the Child Life Department at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
