NEW JERSEY—Freehold-based UMH Properties Inc. has closed on the acquisition of two manufactured home communities in Ohio for $5.9 million. With this closing, UMH now owns 55 manufactured home communities consisting of approximately 10,400 developed homesites.
The newly acquired communities in Ohio total 280 sites situated on approximately 62 acres. The average occupancy for these communities is approximately 89 percent.
UMH Properties is a publicly owned REIT with properties in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Indiana.
