NEW YORK—Crocs footwear has signed a 13,600-sq.-ft. lease at 152 West 34th Street. It is the company’s fourth location in New York City and includes 40 ft. of frontage.
Mark Stempel, president of CityVest Realty Corp., represented the landlord and Steven Greenberg, of The Greenberg Group Inc., represented the tenant in the transaction. The Riese Organization is the property’s owner.
Crocs plans to take possession of its new space in the spring of 2013 with an opening slated for that summer. Known for its distinct shoe collections, Crocs has more than 300 four-season footwear styles. Since its inception in 2002, Crocs has sold more than 200 million pairs of shoes in more than 90 countries around the world.
Situated across the street from Macy’s Department Store and Penn Station, 152 West 34th Street is also home to a Pizza Hut and Tim Hortons Café and Bake Shop.
