NEW YORK—Drybar has leased its third New York City location at 222 East 34th Street between Second and Third Avenues. The Irvine, Calif.-based hair salon also has locations in the Flatiron District and the Le Parker Meridien Hotel. In total, Drybar has 15 locations throughout the country.
The Winick Realty Group LLC’s Hal Shapiro, managing director, along with Josh Siegelman, associate director, represented the landlord, Rosebud Associates. Richard Skulnik of Ripco Real Estate represented Drybar in the deal.
In the Murray Hill neighborhood, Drybar will occupy 1,900 sq. ft. of ground floor space at the building known as “The Anthem.” Drybar will offer wash and blow-dry services as well as scalp massages and updos.
Shapiro and Siegelman are currently marketing the remaining 5,000 square feet of ground floor space at 222 East 34th Street, which sits at the base of The Anthem Building, a residential tower with 480 apartments.
Totaling 25 stories, the property is situated on the 34th Street corridor and includes in-building parking, 14 to 16-ft. ceiling heights and 56 ft. of 34th Street frontage.
