NEW YORK—An affiliate of Emmes Asset Management Co. LLC, which recently acquired 158 West 27th Street in Chelsea, has named Cushman & Wakefield as the exclusive leasing agent for the property, located between 6th and 7th avenues.
The Cushman & Wakefield team of Bruce Mosler, chairman of global brokerage, Mark Mandell, executive director, and Ethan Silverstein, director, along with Mikael Nahmias, senior managing director and Matthias Li, senior associate, of the firm’s strategic agency services group, represent ownership as exclusive leasing agent.
Standing 12 stories tall, the 117,158-sq.-ft. loft office building contains 96,610 sq. ft. of office space and 20,548 sq. ft. of retail and storage space on the lower floors of the building.
“We are excited to be working with Emmes as the exclusive leasing agent on this unique property in Midtown South, which is the hottest neighborhood in Manhattan and the tightest market in the nation, with a 6.8 percent vacancy rate and rents that have risen more than 8 percent year-over-year,” said Mosler.
Emmes plans to continue to upgrade the property, including updates to its technology, façade and roof/penthouse renovations.
