NEW YORK—GFI Realty Services Inc. has coordinated, separately, the sale of two properties in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, N.Y. for a combined total of approximately $6.7 million.
In the first disposition, GFI Realty Services’ represented the seller, a local investor, as well as the buyer in the $6.0 million trade of 1084 New York Ave. Yosef Katz, director at GFI Realty Services, represented the seller, a local investor, while Josh Orlander, senior broker, also of GFI Realty Service, represented the buyer, Castellan Real Estate Partners.
The four-story, 47,680-sq.-ft. walk-up building contains 62 apartments and one retail store. Constructed in 1926, 1084 New York Ave. is located in close proximity to public transportation and Prospect Park.
In the second transaction, GFI Realty Services’ Shlomo Antebi, director, represented the buyer and the seller, both local investors, in the $715,000 trade of 216-218 East 39th Street.
The three-story walk-up multifamily property was constructed in 1925 and contains nine units spanning 9,600 sq. ft. of space.
