LivePerson Doubles Space at 475 Tenth Ave.

NEW YORK—LivePerson, a provider of online engagement solutions that provides real-time chat and advice for consumers, has expanded its space at 475 Tenth Avenue with an eight-year, 18,500-sq.-ft. lease. The company will now occupy a total of 37,000 sq. ft. of space on the building’s third and fifth floors.

The terms of the lease were undisclosed, but asking rent for the space was $35 per sq. ft. Michael Kaufman and Grant Greenspan of the Kaufman Organization represented the tenant while Kristin Fisher of the Adler Group represented the landlord in the transaction.

“LivePerson is growing at a rapid pace, as many technology-based companies are today,” said Kaufman. “The third floor at 475 Tenth Ave. became available at a great time for LivePerson and the Kaufman Organization was able to help the company expand while staying in the same building. After a few months of renovations, LivePerson plans to move into its expanded offices this fall.”

Built in 1913, 475 Tenth Ave. is located on Manhattan’s West Side. Comprised of 14 stories, the 259,500-sq.-ft. building has a renovated, attended lobby, 24/7 key-card access and on-site security and management. Other tenants at the building include Richard Meier Architects, Donna Karan Home Collection and Isaac Mizrahi.

LivePerson connects businesses and experts in various industries with consumers seeking help on the Web. More than 8,000 companies use the company’s technology to communicate and build relationships with consumers online.
