NEW YORK—Marolda Properties, a New York City-based multifamily property owner and operator, has acquired 144-150 Ludlow Street for approximately $11.9 million.
Eastern Consolidated’s Brian Ezratty, vice chairman, Nancy Tran, associate director, and Scott Ellard, director of financial services, with Aliza Avital represented the seller, Ludlow Associates. Ezratty and Avital also procured the buyer.
Located in the Lower East Side, 144-150 Ludlow Street is comprised for five studio apartments, 40 one-bedroom units and seven two-bedroom units. The complex was originally four separate, adjacent buildings that were combined several years ago. The property, which stands five stories tall on one side and six stories tall on the other, includes an interior courtyard for tenants.
The property provides access to a number of restaurants and nightlife options and is in close proximity to public transportation.
