NEW YORK—The Meatball Shop, a New-York-based restaurant chain, has signed a long-term, 11,500-sq.-ft. lease at 192 Seigel Street in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. The new lease represents an expansion for the company, which plans to use the location as a central cooking location and test kitchen.
Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Inc.’s Howard Darsi, broker, represented the tenant. Pinnacle Realty represented the owner, Fay Da Bakery in the deal.
Located in close proximity to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and Flushing Avenue, 192 Seigel Street offers 10,000 sq. ft. of space on the ground level and 1,500 sq. ft. of office space on a mezzanine level. Public transportation is also easily accessible with J, L and M subway lines located nearby.
The property offers two drive-in doors, up to 18-ft. ceilings and a full kitchen area.
The building was formerly occupied by the Fay Da Bakery.
The Meatball Shop focuses on serving a variety of meatballs, sauces and sides, along with house-made ice cream sandwiches. In addition to 192 Seigel Street, The Meatball Shop has locations in Manhattan on the Lower East Side and the West Village, and at 170 Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
