New York – Locally based Bloomberg News will host its first annual Retail Outlook Day, a one-day conference, on Oct. 3, 2001.
The inaugural news event will place the CEOs, analysts and economists leading the retail sector in front of an audience drawn from institutional investors and financial professionals from across the country.
Through in-depth discussion and review of leading economic indicators associated with the retail sector, participants will learn what is “in-store” for the retail sector and for the economy as a whole. By attending, participants also will learn what fashion trends are hot, and what to expect as far as same-store sales.
Retail Outlook Day kicks off at 8:00 a.m., October 3rd, at the Four Seasons Hotel, 57 East 57th Street, New York with a keynote speech by Arthur Martinez, former chairman of Sears, Roebuck & Co., and current chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
