A Garden City, N.Y. office building has sold for $46 million. Earlier today, New York-based Treeline Cos. announced its acquisition of Atria East, a six-story, 207,000 sq. ft. office property in western Long Island.
“We’re proud to add 990 Stewart Avenue to the growing Treeline Companies’ portfolio, and pleased to expand our presence on one of Long Island’s premier commercial thoroughfares,” says Treeline President Frances Schor. Treeline already owns Long Island office properties at One Old Country Road, 100 Garden City Plaza, 200 Garden City Plaza, 300 Garden City Plaza and 400 Garden City Plaza. With this latest acquisition, Treeline will own a 1.1 million sq. ft. portfolio of Long Island office properties.
Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction. Major tenants at 990 Stewart Avenue include Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, one of Long Island's premier law firms, as well as AIG Financial Services, Guardian Insurance and several government agencies. According to Treeline, the property is currently 100% leased.
