Lowe’s acquires 12.5 acres in Oceanside

Wilkesboro, N.C. – Locally based Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers purchased 12.5 acres in the first phase of the Old Grove Marketplace, a 265,000-sq.-ft. shopping center in Oceanside, Calif. Lowe’s plans to begin construction immediately on a 163,000-sq.-ft. home improvement warehouse and garden center.

The property was acquired from Sea Breeze Properties LLC for approximately $4.6 million and is scheduled to open Spring 2002.
