Target Corp. names Butzer EVP of stores for Target; Diane Neal becomes new Mervyn's president

Minneapolis – Locally based Target Corp. named Bart Butzer executive vice president of stores for its Target division. Butzer began his career at Target Corp. in 1983 and has held a number of positions within the stores and headquarters functions.

Diane Neal will succeed Butzer as president of the Hayward, Calif.-based Mervyn's division. Neal began her career with Target Corp. in 1980 as a management trainee in merchandising at Dayton's department store.
