NEW YORK—The Agora Building, located on the Upper East Side at 1556 Third Avenue, has signed two new leases totaling approximately 6,858 sq. ft. of space. New tenants include Mount Sinai Manhattan Heart and Bespoke Education. Both are expected to take occupancy by the end of the summer.
Ross Spitalnick, a senior vice president with Muss Development L.L.C., represented the landlord in the transactions at the Class A office property.
In its lease at 1556 Third Avenue, Mount Sinai Manhattan Heart has taken 4,808 sq. ft. The medical provider will house three physicians as well as a staff of technicians and administrators at the site. Tom Ahn and Glen Dawson, represented Mount Sinai Manhattan Heart in-house to close the transaction.
Bespoke Education, a tutoring and education company that specializes in SAT, ACT and SAT 2 test prep classes, will occupy 2,050 sq. ft. of space on the third floor. Adam Kriegstein of The Manhattes Group represented Bespoke to complete the transaction.
Situated at the corner of 87th Street and Third Avenue, the 78,179-sq.-ft. Agora Building has two entrances and lobbies, one at 177 East 87th Street and the other at 1556 Third Avenue. The building is located in close proximity to public transportation.
