NEW YORK CITY—In a transaction arranged by Savitt Partners, Gusy Van der Zandt LLP has committed to a 2,800-sq.-ft. lease at 261 Madison Avenue. Currently located in a 1,400-sq.-ft. space at 500 Fifth Avenue, the transaction will enable the law firm to double its size.
Elliot Zelinger of Savitt Partners represented Gusy Van der Zandt in the 10-year lease transaction. Myles Fennon, Robert Gallucci, Alan Wildes and Bruce Mosler of Cushman & Wakefield represented the building ownership.
“Gusy Van der Zandt is currently subleasing space and wanted a direct lease,” said Zelinger, who added that the firm was also looking for additional space for its growing business practice.
