NEW YORK CITY—Jones Lang LaSalle has completed a renewal for The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers with Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. at 3 Park Avenue. The nonprofit professional organization signed a 12-year lease for 22,000 sq. ft. of office space at the 625,000-sq.-ft., class-A office building.
The IEEE was represented by Chris Kraus, managing director; Steve Fleming, senior vice president; and John Buckley, senior associate, with Jones Lang LaSalle. The team worked closely with John Hunt, director of facilities for the institute. The building owner, Cohen Brothers, was represented by in-house by David Nevins, senior vice president of leasing, and Marc Horowitz, vice president.
The tenant renewed its lease for 22,000 sq. ft. at 3 Park Avenue for more than 12 years and will continue to occupy the entire 17th floor at the building, which is located between East 33rd and East 34th Streets. The IEEE has been a tenant at 3 Park Avenue since 1998.
