The Marketplace is an open-air project integrating six shopping districts -- home improvement, fashion, entertainment/lifestyle, home design, restaurant and neighborhood convenience. In contrast to the area's Southwestern style, the Marketplace uses an American architectural palette with stone and wood finishes in soft cream and gray colors.

The contrast of large and small artistic design elements offers a unique center village that generates a hometown, Main Street, U.S.A., feeling. These characteristics include large walkway overhangs that are enriched by effervescent blue lighting in the night. Flowers planted in large-scale pots enhance sitting benches and grand-sized signage peering over the walkways adds to a quaint village feel. Shop windows are wide and low while doorways are small and neighborly. Shutters and canopies, shed roofs with skylights, covered walkways and character-filled amenities distinguish the project.

The Marketplace also offers easy access to some of the larger stores that reside on the periphery. Pedestrian walkways link the villagelike center to the stores located on the outer perimeter where customers can easily access any store without have to wind their way through a crowded parking lot. This unique feature links the entire center offering a variety of retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues to choose from while truly creating a hometown feel.
