It seems even the skateboard crowd needs its boutiques. Skateboarding shoe and apparel company etnies, which is owned by Sole Technology Inc., opened a flagship showroom in New York City. The company purchased the SoHo building for $3.8 million and spent a year renovating the 5,640 square feet, spending $150 per square foot on the build out. Renovating the building included putting in place a rooftop skate ramp.
