Getting to know us and who to contact for help with certain sections of the magazine will make life easier for everyone.
So let's start with associate editor Brannon Boswell ([email protected]). Brannon holds a degree in journalism from the University of Alabama. He cut his trade journalism teeth at AutoInteriors magazine, a publication devoted to designers and engineers in the global automotive industry.
For Quick Hits, Development Digest, Center Profiles and Entertaining Places, Brannon will take care of your press releases, mail and faxes.
Assistant editor Joel Groover, ([email protected]) is a 1993 graduate of the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism at The University of Georgia. In his years at Georgia newspapers, Groover covered politicians (as a legislative reporter for The Macon Telegraph), dead people (as an obituary writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution), and criminals (as a cops reporter for The Marietta Daily Journal.) Now he's on to shopping centers.
For Transactions, Cyberbeat, and all the news that's fit to print in our Technology Edge section, Joel will handle your press releases, mail and faxes.
Assistant editor Erika Hutton ([email protected]) graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism and is an avid photographer. She learned the retail ropes firsthand as a store manager with Abercrombie & Fitch in Atlanta.
The sections of SCW for which Erika is responsible include Store Fronts, Retail Design Trends, New Leases and Retail Report.
In addition to hiking, drumming and brewing his own beer, assistant editor Rob Johnson ([email protected]) is known for his skill on the harmonica.
A graduate of Tulane University, Johnson joins SCW from the journalism master's degree program at UGA.
